The question as to which was the first Scout Troop?
Baden-Powell replied to this question:  -
As far as we have been able to trace, there is no actual first Troop of Boy Scouts in England
as a number of Troops and Patrols sprang up about the same time,
the Vaux's Own Troop in Sunderland was the first I inspected.
